Investigators in North Carolina issued a warrant for the arrest of a man accused of murdering an Ashland, Ohio, woman.

Sheriff’s officials in Dare County, N.C. officially identified a body that was found earlier this week as that of the missing Ashland mother.

Lynn Jackenheimer disappeared more than a week ago after vacationing with her ex-boyfriend, Nate Summerfield, 27, in Nags Head, North Carolina.

Summerfield, who is also missing, was labeled a person of interest in the case after allegedly telling a family member that he killed Jackenheimer. He is officially wanted for murder as of Monday evening.

Jackenheimer’s body was found in bag about 30 minutes from where Jackenheimer was last seen. The Dare County Sheriff said that because of the condition and position of the body, they couldn't tell if it is a male or female without the autopsy.

The cause of Jackenheimer's death was not immediately known.
