Columbus police were investigating a fatal shooting in north Columbus Friday night.
Officers were called to a home on Osceola Avenue at 7:45 p.m.
Police said Jeremiah Sandford, 26, was shot inside the home.
Officers said Sandford was taken to Grant Medical Center where he died at 8:15 p.m.
The victim and shooter are the only ones believed to be in the home at the time.
Officers were searching for a suspect believed to be in a silver Chrysler Pacifica.
