Police Catch 4 People Suspected Of Stealing Expensive Tools

Police recovered thousands of dollars in stolen tools on Thursday morning.

Police officers said that they were conducting surveillance in the area of Proclamation Way and Alum Creek when they caught three men and one woman breaking into a trailer and taking tools at about 1:30 a.m.

Officers followed the suspected thieves along Alum Creek Drive for a short time before pulling the vehicle over.

The owner of the tools identified the property.

The suspected thieves, whose identities were not released, were taken into custody. All four were charges with breaking and entering. Investigators said that other charges were pending.

Investigators were working to learn if they were connected to over break-ins in the area.
