Fairfield Medical Center is expanding after buying a facility from Mount Carmel.
According to the Lancaster Eagle Gazette, the Fairfield Medical Center bought the River View Imaging Center from Mount Carmel for $800,000.
With the expansion of their property, the Medical Center also decided to change its name to Fairfield Medical Diagnostic Services at River View.
The center will allow doctors to view image and test results almost immediately as they are being performed, officials said.
