The owner of a new tattoo shop said that equipment, cash and electronics were taken from his store.

Sean Darby of Darby’s Tattoo and Piercings, located on Parsons Avenue, said that he was worried the break-in would make it difficult to keep his business running.

Darby said that thieves pushed an air conditioning unit into a wall to gain entry.

They took tattoo equipment worth thousands of dollars, a big screen television, laptop computers and an estimated $500 in cash.

Darby says he had not saved enough money to insure his shop’s property yet.

He says he did have an alarm, but thinks the thieves cut the lines.
