Police served a search warrant for thousands worth of illegal fireworks at a Powell home on Monday evening.
Police said that a homeowner was operating an illegal fireworks stand out of a basement on Spring Garden Lane.
According to authorities, the homeowner was putting the entire neighborhood at risk.
Police said that the homeowner likely would face a third-degree felony charge.
The fireworks were slated to be turned over to the state fire marshal’s office.
