Police were searching for robbers who shot a man early Monday morning.
According to the Scioto County Sheriff's Office, Brian McCain was shot inside his home at 3:15 a.m. The robbers took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene.
McCain, 40, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Detectives were working to identify those responsible. They said that they believed McCain knew his attackers.
