Teenage Driver Strikes, Kills Motorcyclist

A man riding a motorcycle was killed when a driver struck him on Sunday night.

According to the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office, a 17-year-old boy was driving along U.S. Route 36 when he lost control of his vehicle, striking James C Hartstine's motorcycle, about 8:14 p.m.

Hartsine, 66, died at the scene. The teenager was airlifted to Grant Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.
