Authorities said Saturday that a teenager died after being shot in the head on Thursday.
According to police, the shooting occurred at the Mobil store, near Cleveland Avenue and Weber Road, just before 2 p.m.
Police said that one suspect shot a man and the 17-year-old girl in the head. According to witnesses, the man and woman who were shot were inside a car. They said that the teenager driving the vehicle got into an argument with a man on a bicycle.
Witnesses said they say the teenager back into the person on the bicycle.
“One of the people that was in the car – the female – was arguing with the person on the bike. She ran over one of the bikes, tried to pull off, and as she was pulling off, one of the guys on the bike shot her,” a witness said on Thursday.
Police said that the shooter ran away from the store after the shooting.
The condition of the man was not immediately known.
On Thursday, police said that they had two people of interest that they planned to question in connection with the double shooting. Police were still searching for the person responsible in connection with the shooting.
