A woman crashed her car into a building near the Ohio State campus early Friday morning.
According to police, the woman was traveling southbound along state Route 315 when she traveled off the road and through a fence just before 6 a.m. The woman struck a tree before crashing into the Lifeline of Ohio building, located at 770 Kinnear Rd.
The events leading to the crash were under investigation. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
“This is not the first time this has happened,” said Rachel Lewis of LifeLine of Ohio. “In the past, we have worked with the city to install a guardrail north of our donor memorial. After this, we’ll be looking to see if there are additional safeguards that can be put in place.”
The driver’s identity was not immediately released.
