Ten local farmers donated enough money to help buy 13 new iPads for third graders in the Amanda Clearcreek School District.

The Lancaster Eagle Gazette reported that the farmers' funds were matched by the seed company Channel Seed.

Seventeen additional iPads were still needed.

The Gazette reported that district would purchase them with technology funds.
