Police: Man Allegedly Connected To Sexual Assault Cuts Throat Along Railroad

A man was recovering at a hospital on Thursday morning after police said he cut his own throat.

Police said that they received a report of a rape Thursday morning near Queensbridge Drive in northwest Columbus.

The alleged victim gave a description of a man, who was found by police along the railroad tracks just east of Smoke Row Road under Interstate 270 at about 11 a.m.

The man, whose name was not immediately released, was taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital, where he was recovering.
