A teenager has admitted guilt in the fatal stabbing of a woman in Blendon Township.

SNAP Recipients To Receive Replacement Food Assistance

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services was granted a federal waiver on Thursday to issue food assistance to those in counties hit hardest by Friday and Sunday’s storms.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients will automatically receive a prorated 13.3 percent of their monthly benefit in their SNAP accounts.

Those in the following counties will automatically receive assistance:
Allen
Athens
Auglaize
Belmont
Brown
Clinton
Coshocton
Franklin
Gallia
Green
Guernsey
Hancock
Highland
Hocking
Jackson
Lawrence
Licking
Mercer
Monroe
Montgomery
Morgan
Muskingum
Noble
Paulding
Pike
Preble
Putnam
Ross
Shelby
Van Wert
Vinton
Warren
Washington
Wyandot

Those who do not reside in the above counties could receive benefits and should contact their county department of job and family services.
