Boy, 14, Admits To Accidentally Shooting, Killing Teen

A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed at a north side house on Thursday afternoon.

According to police, another 14-year-old boy admitted to playing with a handgun he found inside his house and accidently shooting the other teenager.

The teenage boy, whose name was not released, was found dead at a home, located along Fairlawn Drive, on the north side shortly after 1 p.m.

Three other children were at the home at the time of the shooting.

The grandmother came home to find the boy shot and killed.

The grandmother and the teenagers were questioned by police, and a 14-year-old boy admitted to shooting the victim.

The names of those involved were not immediately released.
