Armed Man Who Ran From Troopers, Deputies In Custody

A man who ran from a stolen vehicle on Thursday morning was in custody Thursday evening.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Fairfield County Sheriff’s deputies searched for hours for the man, whose name was not immediately released.

According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, the man ran into two homes near Amanda and was considered armed and dangerous.

The search and chase resulted from a traffic stop at state Route 159 and U.S. Route 22 at about 11:30 a.m.

The man was arrested on Delmont Road South West and Stoney Hill Road South West.

Troopers arrested a woman, identified as Jodi Lynn Morre-Graf, who was in the car with the unidentified man.

Morre-Graf, 29, was arrested on an outstanding traffic violation warrant from Lancaster.

Investigators believed the car was stolen from the Columbus area.

Troopers found a number of weapons inside the car.
