Man Suspected In Columbus Teenager’s Slaying Arrested In Steubenville

Steubenville police arrested a man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a Columbus teenager on November 18th, 10TV reported on Wednesday.

Police said 19-year-old Deandre Boone was arrested after he assaulted a woman in Steubenville. That was when authorities discovered there was a homicide warrant out of Columbus.

Boone was wanted for shooting Joseph A. Jones, 19, in front of a house located in the 2000 block of Schenley Drive.

Jones died at Grant Medical Center about five hours after the shooting, police said.
