Police were working to identify a woman who was found dead on the west side late Wednesday morning.
According to investigators, the woman’s body was found in an alley, near Nashoba and Sullivant avenues, at about 11:30 a.m.
The woman was pronounced dead on the scene. Homicide detectives were working to determine a cause of death.
Investigators were treating the woman’s death as a homicide until it proven otherwise. Police said that there were no obvious signs of foul play.
