Police identified the victim of a deadly east side shooting on Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the shooting, which occurred in the 1100 block of South Hampton Road, at about 10:30 p.m.
When they arrived to the scene, police found Dwain Walker and Reginald Perry in a driveway with gunshot wounds. Walker, 39, suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
Both men were transported to Grant Medical Center, where Walker died at 11:05 p.m. Perry, 55, was listed in critical condition.
Police were searching for the person responsible in the shooting. A description of the shooter was not immediately available.
