The Red Cross and the City of Columbus will provide free meals to those without power on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Two Columbus locations will serve lunch between noon and 1 p.m. and dinner between 6-7 p.m. through Wednesday evening.

Meals will be served in Columbus at the following locations:

Douglas Recreation Center, 1250 Windsor Ave.

Far East Recreation Center, 1826 Lattimer Dr.

The Red Cross also will provide free meals during the same times at Peace Lutheran Church, located at 455 Clarke State Rd. in Gahanna.

The meals were offered because many were forced to throw out food because of the power outages.
