Spectators lined the streets in the early Tuesday morning hours to nab the best seats in the city for Red, White & Boom!
The Zeier family refused to miss the best fireworks-watching spot in the city. Armed with a grill and chairs, the family decided to save their spot at Franklin County Veterans Memorial, located at 300 W. Broad St., on Monday.
The Zeiers were prepared for a hot day ahead.
"We've got a lot of ice," Karina Zeier said.
The Zeiers were not alone in their journey for the best spots, others showed up through the morning to rope off their claims and prepare for the spectacle.
