Thousands of Ohians were without power when a second storm struck the state on Sunday evening.
Robin Ankrom said that the storm that damaged her Bloomingburg home was terrifying. High winds caused a tree to fall onto her house, 10TV's Jason Frazer reported.
"When I think about it, I just shake," Ankrom said.
Ankrom said that she was taking a rest from her weekend chores when she heard the wind pounding on her mobile home.
"It grabbed the tree and threw it down and smashed the whole end of the house," Ankrom said.
The home was completely destroyed, Frazer reported. Homes throughout the area were also damaged by the storm.
Sam McDaniel said that he was home with his family when he heard a loud "crack."
"It was real dark gray-black, lightning flashing all over the place," McDaniel said. "It was a good storm."
McDaniel walked outside his home to find a tree on top of his truck, missing his home by a few inches, Frazer reported.
Despite the significant damage left behind in the village, Ankrom and McDaniel said that the damage could have been much worse.
