Multiple law enforcement agencies were searching for two men who refused to stop during a traffic stop early Friday morning.
According to investigators, Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies tried to stop a van with a trailer carrying a riding lawn mower and tools on London-Groveport Road, near Pontius Road, shortly before 4 a.m.
Deputies said that the vehicle was stolen from Obetz, 10TV News reported.
The two men inside the van refused to stop and led deputies on a ¾ mile chase. The driver lost control of the van and crashed into a curb.
Both men inside the vehicle ran.
Investigators said that they were searching businesses and a field near the crash site.
