Firefighters Save Cat From Burning Home

Newark firefighters nursed a cat back to health after a house fire, 10TV News reported on Thursday.

Investigators have not yet determined the case of the fire, which occurred on Prospect Street.

According to the Newark Advocate, firefighters rescued the family cat, Lilly, and administered oxygen to the cat to help her breathe.

The family got out of the burning house, and no one was hurt.

Firefighters said that the fire started in a second-floor bedroom.
