Investigators caught a man on Thursday thought to be involved in a burglary and fleeing from officers twice.

Zachary Davis is accused of breaking into a home, located in the 4500 block of Olentangy River Rd., on Tuesday.  A warrant was issued for Davis' arrest Tuesday evening, 10TV News reported.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, a woman returned to her house to find a man, identified as Davis, 23, inside. Davis allegedly drove off in a white minivan shortly after 11:30 a.m.

Officials said that Davis was stopped by deputies along state Route 315, north of Powell Road, after a 4-mile pursuit. He then bailed from the van and ran away.

A number of law enforcement agencies, including the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Dublin, Shawnee Hills, Perry Township and Columbus assisted in the search.

Investigators caught up with Davis at a home, located along South Harris Avenue, in Columbus.
