A woman who was a key figure in the Art Schlichter crime saga faces the possibility of at least one criminal charge, 10 Investigates’ Paul Aker reported on Thursday.

Anita Barney is scheduled to meet with Franklin County prosecutors on Monday, according to Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien.

Barney, whose late husband was one of the founders of the Wendy’s chain, helped prosecutors convict Schlichter of theft in a sports ticket scheme that bilked people out of more than $2 million, Aker reported.

Barney was involved with Schlichter in the operation and has said that she was a victim of the scheme.
