Three people were arrested on Thursday accused of manufacturing methamphetamines.
Chillicothe police said that they responded to a call about a suspicious package near a Dumpster, located along North Bridge St., early Thursday morning. Police said that they found a backpack containing chemicals used to make methamphetamines.
Officers connected the backpack to Jason Lowery after seeing him wearing it earlier in the night.
Lowery, 23, was arrested in connection with the chemicals.
Detectives arrested Lowery's wife, Ashley Lowery, 25, and a friend, Dustin Gordon, 22, at an America's Best Value Inn, located at 1135 E. Main St., after police executed a search warrant and found chemicals for the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
Brandi Day, 25, who was with the group, was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
