Walcutt Road, between Scioto Darby Road and Journal Street, was reopened after midnight Thursday.
It had been closed late Wednesday night because of a gas leak
Police said that a driver struck a gas line on Springdale Boulevard in a resident's back yard and drove off at about 9:00 p.m.
The driver was apprehended a short time later, 10TV News reported.
