Investigators were trying to determine how a woman died on Monday.
Diane Smith was found dead inside her home, located in the 37000 block of Wandling Road, shortly before 11 a.m.
Smith, 56, lived alone, 10TV’s Justin Moss reported.
According to the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office, because there were no witnesses at the time of Smith’s death, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation was called to assist in the sheriff’s investigation.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Franklin County Coroner's Office.
