Dublin police were investigating a report that a man reached for a 5-year-old boy from a moving vehicle as the boy was walking in the street Monday.
Dublin police said the man did not make contact or say anything to the boy while allegedly trying to grab him on Perth Drive, 10TV News reported.
Police said an that an 8-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl also were walking with the boy at the time of the incident.
The vehicle was described as an older, black Honda SUV last seen traveling southbound on Frantz Road from Edinburgh Road.
Officers said that a woman may have also been inside the SUV.
