A child was transported to Nationwide Children's Hospital late Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle on the east side.
The child was riding a bike near the 5000 block of Carbondale Dr., near Eastland Mall, at about 11:30 a.m., 10TV News reported.
The child, whose identity was not immediately released, was taken to the hospital and was expected to recover from injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the child stayed on the scene, 10TV News reported.
