The Hollywood Casino in west Columbus has begun training its first table game dealers and employees, 10TV News reported on Monday.
As many as 600 to 700 people will be hired and trained to run 70 table games at the casino, located on West Broad Street.
Hondros College is helping to train the potential employees in the rules of the games, payouts and odds.
A casino supervisor said that are also reminding trainees about the importance of customer service.
The Hollywood Casino hopes to hire as many as 2,000 employees by its grand opening slated for October.
