Investigators said Thursday that they found the body of a man believed to be the victim of a shooting that also injured a toddler.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, the body of John Davis III was found on Wednesday night.
Investigators said that Davis and Timmy Stevens argued inside a car, parked along Riverview Road on June 12.
Investigators said that Davis, 36, was shot in the head three times, but he disappeared after the shooting.
According to the sheriff's office, a toddler was struck in the legs during the shooting. The toddler was hospitalized but was expected to recover.
The cause of the argument that led to the shooting was not immediately known.
Investigators said that Stevens, 39, is still missing and should be considered armed and dangerous.
