U.S. 33 East Reopens After 2-Vehicle Crash

All lanes of U.S. Route 33 were open on Thursday afternoon after of a crash involving a rig and a car.

The road was closed at Coonpath Road shortly after 2 p.m. and reopened a short time later, 10TV News reported.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Ladonna Paumier of Carroll was traveling northbound when John Lyons of Baltimore made a left turn from Coonpath Road onto U.S. 33.

OSPH officials said that Paumier, 36, failed to stop at a red light and struck the tractor-trailer in the rear.

Paumier was taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus, where she was recovering. Lyons, 51, was treated on the scene for minor injuries.
