Police questioned two people at a North Columbus motel Thursday night about a shooting involving a Secret Service agent.
Officers arrested two people at the Rodeway Inn after 9:00 p.m.
Police said the men were in a white Ford Taurus matching the description of the car involved in the earlier altercation, 10TV's Justin Moss reported.
Police said that they received a call about an officer in trouble at about 5:45 p.m.
Columbus police said a Secret Service agent was pulling into a parking ramp in the area of W. Hoster Street and S. Wall Street when a parking lot attendant yelled she was being robbed.
Police said the agent exited his vehicle, identified himself as a police officer and chased the suspect on foot as he fled.
The agent fired one shot from a gun but it is unknown whether he struck the suspect or passenger in a white Ford Taurus, Moss reported.
The Secret Service agent was not injured.
