Police said that they used a Taser on a man who threatened a woman with a knife on Wednesday morning.
Several people flagged down an officer in a parked cruiser when a man was seen threatening the woman at Broad Street and Stevens Avenue, at about 3 a.m., 10TV News reported.
Police said that they used the Taser on the man when he refused to put the knife down. Emergency crews hospitalized the man, whose identity was not immediately released, because he suffered a head injury when he fell to the ground.
The woman was not injured during the incident.
