The case of a former Wellington School theater teacher accused of hiding a camera inside a girls’ locker room was headed to the state Supreme Court as of Wednesday.

A Franklin County judge ruled that evidence should be thrown out in connection with the allegations against Larry Dibble.

An appeals court upheld the judge’s ruling last year, 10TV News reported.

Dibble’s attorney said that an Upper Arlington detective lied to obtain a search warrant for Dibble’s Dublin home. His attorney said that because of this, the evidence should be tossed out.

The state Supreme Court will hear the case.
