Man Accused Of Robbing Gas Station Held On $250,000 Bond

A man was held on $250,000 bond on Tuesday in connection with robbing a night clerk at a north side gas station.

Douglas Thompson III is charged with aggravated robbery for the alleged incident that occurred April 18.

Surveillance images showed a man, who police identified as Thompson, in the store at about 1:22 a.m. that morning.

Police said that Thompson put his hand in his pocket and told the female clerk, “This is a robbery,” then left with money.

That clerk identified Thompson in a lineup.
