East Broad Street, between Taylor and Waggoner roads on the east side, was closed for about 2 1/2 hours because of a gas leak that occurred on Monday afternoon.
The gas leak occurred shortly before 2 p.m. The road reopened shortly after 4:30 p.m.
The source of the leak was close to Waggoner Road, 10TV News reported.
There were no reports of injuries.
