A woman was charged with felonious assault following a shooting near downtown early Sunday morning.
It happened at approximately 2:22 a.m. near the intersection of Vine St. And Kilbourne St., 10TV News reported.
Police said the victim, Joseph Crutchen, Jr., 24, exited his vehicle and was shot one time in the leg, causing injury to both legs.
Crutchen was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, Jessica Burgess, 24, was taken into custody without incident.
Police discovered a firearm in her vehicle, and she was charged with felonious assault.
