A sobriety checkpoint in Franklin County late Friday ended with four arrests for drunken driving.
The operation, led by the Franklin County DUI Task Force, was a joint effort with the Hilliard Police Department, Dublin Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, 10TV News reported.
Law enforcement stopped drivers along Norton Road in Prairie Township from 9:00 p.m. Friday until 3:00 a.m. Saturday.
A total of 814 vehicles passed through the zone, 10TV News reported. Officers checked 332 vehicles and diverted 39 cars.
The checkpoint yielded four drunken-driving arrests, 10TV News reported.
Officers also issued 21 citations and 17 traffic warnings.
Seven vehicles were impounded, 10TV News reported.
The checkpoint was an effort to keep impaired drivers off the roads.
