The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that they were searching for a shooting victim and his alleged shooter.

According to investigators, John Davis III and Timmy Stevens argued at a home, located along Morgan County Road 2, at about 9 p.m. Tuesday when Davis was shot in the head three times.

Officers said that when they arrived, Davis had left with Stevens in a white 2012 Kia Forte EX with Kentucky license No. 467-MVF, 10TV’s Tanisha Mallett reported.

A 2-year-old in the car with the men was shot in the leg, according to the Morgan County Prosecutor’s Office.

The bullet went through the child’s leg, and the child was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Mallett reported.

A 16-year-old girl inside the home was not injured. The cause of the argument was not immediately known.

Investigators said that Stevens should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information in the shooting is asked to contact the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office at 740-962-4044.
