Firefighters knocked down flames that broke out inside a vacant east side home on Wednesday morning just hours after fighting another fire on the same street.
A home, located in the 1600 block of Granville Street caught fire at about 2 a.m., 10TV’s Shayla Reaves reported. The home was empty at the time of the fire. A “For Sale” sign was in the front yard.
The early morning flames erupted just hours after another vacant home, located along Granville Street, caught fire just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday.
No injuries were reported in either fire. Fire investigators were waiting for daylight to investigate the cause of the fire.
