Columbus Police Detective Arrested On Domestic Violence Charges

A detective was out of jail on Thursday after being charged in connection with a domestic violence dispute.

Columbus police Det. Rob Warnick was accused of assaulting his wife and 9-year-old nephew on Thursday morning.

Warnick, a 18-year veteran on the force, was arrested by Pickerington police at the Columbus Division of Police headquarters, the newspaper reported.

Warnick posted a $5,000 bond and was released from the Fairfield County Jail.
