Ohio Wesleyan University’s Perkins Observatory was gifted a planetarium projector thanks to Ohio State University renovations, 10TV News reported on Monday.

Ohio State’s planetarium, housed in Smith Laboratory, is undergoing an extensive renovation.

On Monday, crews dismantled a 45-year-old projector and transported it to Perkins Observatory, located at 3199 Columbus Pike in Delaware.

Ohio State officials said that they planned to install a new high-tech projector system to allow scientists and student groups to see other planets and galaxies even on cloudy nights.

The university hoped to have the project completed by this fall, 10TV News reported.
