A woman was found shot to death inside her Far East side home on Sunday morning.
Police responded to the shooting, located along the 300 block of Albion Way, at about 7 a.m., to find the Teresa Edwards in her bed with multiple gunshot wounds, 10TV News reported.
According to police, Edwards’ husband, Tom Edwards, said that he fired a gun in the house, but did not admit to shooting his wife.
Investigators said that they were treating Teresa Edwards’ death as a homicide, 10TV News reported.
Tom Edwards was arrested and charged with aggravated murder. He was being held at the Franklin County Jail.
The circumstances leading to the shooting were under investigation.
