An expectant mother got a special delivery outside of the delivery room Wednesday.
Anthony Lemaster drove his wife, Amanda, to the Adena Medical Center and ran inside to see if someone could help Amanda, who was in labor.
Staff from the Adena Women and Children’s Center, along with Ohio University nursing students, ran outside to help the woman, who had already begun to deliver her baby.
Nursing student Brian Ice delivered 6-pound Carter Brian Lemaster without a hitch outside of the hospital, according to the hospital.
The couple said that they chose their son’s middle name after Ice, who they were grateful for.
