A child who was ejected from an SUV that was involved in a crash remained in critical condition on Wednesday afternoon.

Jodi Gbaruk, 3, is being treated at Nationwide Children's Hospital, 10TV News reported.

Gbaruk was inside an SUV that was traveling south along Avery Road when it collided with a construction vehicle that was driving west along Brand Road on Tuesday morning.

The child's age was originally believed to be 4 years old but Dublin officials sent a press release on Thursday that identified the child and her age.

Gbaruk's mother, Benedicta Mahama and 5-year-old sister, Janice Gbaruk, were not seriously hurt, police said.

According to the Washington Township Fire Department, the girl may have not been wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
