Groveport Road Reopens After Bomb Squad Investigation

Investigators closed a portion of Groveport Road Monday for about three hours while officials investigated reports of a suspicious package inside a vehicle.

The road was closed in front of the Pick-n-Pull salvage yard, located at 2760 Groveport Rd., just before 11:30 a.m., 10TV News reported.

The road reopened shortly after 1 p.m.

Bomb squad investigators were working to identify the suspicious item. There were no immediate reports of injuries or evacuations.
