Crime Stoppers announced on Sunday that it is offering a reward of up to $2,000 in connection with finding the man who burglarized a northeast side eyeglass store last week.
The crime occurred on April 29 at about 11:20 p.m. at Eyeglass Wearhouse, located at 1999 E. Dublin-Granville Rd.
Police said that a man used a large rock to smash a front door glass and then entered the business.
He was recorded on store security cameras and video showed him putting numerous eyeglass frames into a bag.
According to investigators, about $11,000 in frames was stolen.
The burglar is described as a black man with a medium complexion, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray toboggan, dark jacket, pink shirt, light colored jeans and white athletic shoes.
The reward is in effect for information received by May 16 that leads to the man's arrest or indictment.
