Ohio State will kick off in the evening or at night three times in 2012, the Big Ten Conference announced Tuesday.

The Oct. 6 Homecoming game against Nebraska will kick off at 8 p.m. and will be televised by ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. It will mark the Cornhuskers' first visit to Ohio Stadium since playing there in consecutive years in 1955 and 1956.

The following week's game at Indiana will also start at 8 p.m. It will be telecast on the Big Ten Network.

Two weeks later, on Oct. 27, the Buckeyes' game at Penn State will kick off at 6 p.m. and will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

Television assignments for the first three Ohio State games will be determined no later than July 1, but the Big Ten office expects to have the information for the games well before the deadline.

Ohio State is 34-18 all-time in games starting after 5 p.m. local time. In Ohio Stadium, the team has a 7-3 record, with an 18-8 mark on the road and a 9-7 record at neutral sites.
